FIFA Confederations Cup 2017 would be the 10th Confederations Cup with the opening group game between hosts Russia and New Zealand. This tournament is men’s football game which is organised by FIFA. This year It will be held in Russia, from 17 June to 2 July 2017.
FIFA world cup 2018 would also be hosted by Russia which was announced on 2 December 2010. The matches will be played in four different stadiums across four cities: Saint Petersburg, Moscow, Kazan, and Sochi. This is first time Russia will hosts the tournament.
The final tournament has divided into two stages, a group stage and a latter knockout stage. In the group stage, each team will play three games in a group of four, with the winners and runners-up from each group advancing to the knockout stage.
In this tournament each team must have squad of 30 players. From the preliminary squad, the team must name a final squad of 23 players (three of whom must be goalkeepers) by the FIFA deadline. Players who has been selected to play the match may be replaced due to serious injury up to 24 hours prior to kickoff of the team’s first match, where the replacement players do not need to be in the preliminary squad.
