ITALIAN SERIE A FIXTURE|SCHEDULE 2017-2018

A calendar has been announced and it is definitely the interesting one. The 2017-2018 series-A will be the 119th season of the top tier Italian football, actually it is also known as the series-A TIM due to sponsorship reasons. This season will be the 86th in a round-robin tournament and the 8th since its organization under a league committee got separated from Serie B. Juventus has beenthe six-time defending champions.

According to Ezio Maria simonelli, who is the Head president has said that three teams have been promoted to Serie A namely SPAL, on 13 may 2017.Before that it was a part of Serie B for a period of 49 yrs, other teams that have been promoted to Serie A are Hellas verona,after five days of SPAL promotion.The other team was Benevento who won the play off to get promoted to Serie A and became the 67th team to get the opportunity to participate in Italian top level league. Three teams have also been removed from the Serie A.

All regular games will be played from Friday to Monday, but at least one match will be played on Saturday 12:30 according to Indian standard time and at least three matches will be played on Sunday. It has been officially announced that the season Serie A will use VAR technology thus removing the use of two referrees.

There will be three midweek fixtures which will take place on 20 September,25 October and 18 April. The international breaks have been announced on the weekends of 3 September,8 October, 12 November and 25 March. And on the weekend of 14 January, there will be a further interruption in the league season.

For the first time, match will be played on both 23rd December and 30th December and also on weekend of 6th January.

It has been  announced that in this session, the games will be played in Christmas holidays, and the winter break  will be given during the new year time. There will be three surprising midweek matches on 20 September, 25 October and 18 April. Midseason break will occur from 7 – 20 January.

ITALIAN SERIES-A SCHEDULE

The 2017-2018 season will run from 19 august 2017 to 20 may 2018. There will be three midweek fixtures on 20 September,25 October and 18 April. The international breaks have been officially announced for the weekends of 3 September, 8 October, 12 November and 25 March, while there will be a further interruption in the league season on the weekend of 14 January. Juventus will be hosting  cagliari for the first season of Serie A. Italian champion Juventus will play the opening game against cagliari in this season and so on. Supercoppa TM b/w Juventus and Lazio will be played on 13th August at Olympico stadium, Rome.

In Africa, star times will broadcast the events. In American countries,ESPN,fox sport, belN sports and sportsman will broadcast the event. In Asian countries, Sony six, Sony ESPN, belN sports, eleven sports will stream the events.

The events can also be watched on fubo tv. Even if one doesn’t have a Tv subscription for belN sports, one can watch channels via online streaming for $15 per month.
