Tennis is a popular game played either individually as a “singles”(b/w two players facing on opposite side),and as doubles(b/w two players of each team).the basic principle behind is game is that the player has to play a valid return in order to earn points/scores. Player can also earn points by landing the ball of opposite side.

Wimbledon popularity can understand from a single fact that the tennis lovers from more than 100 countries, from around the globe watch this tournament through different broadcasting channels. Not less than 100 digital HD cameras are in use to display the matches played over 9 different tennis courts.

LOCATION

Officially it is played on a rectangular flat surface, also court. the size of court is 78 feet long,27 feet m wide foe singles matches and  36 ft for double matches. on officially it can be played either in fields.lawns,and roofs etc.

Wimbledon tennis championship is like the word cup of cricket in terms of tennis. This event is organized for both men’s and women’s…..Individually or groups.

SCHEDULE

the Wimbledon tennis championship is going to be held from 25 June 2017 to 15th July 2017.the qualifying round will be organised from Monday 26 June to Thursday 29th June. The championship round will be organised from Monday 3 rd July to Sunday 16th July.

  • WOMEN DRAW: KERBER will prove to be the top seed start in Wimbledon. Serena Williams will be absent and since she is the worlds no 1 struggling player. Jelena ostapenko is also a promising player who had recently won the French open. Kvitovas is also in progress.she has already won Wimbledon twice,and thus she already knows how to play indeed.

Unfortunately the ticket ballots booking has been closed several months ago.now,the only way to get tickets is through queue…which allows tennis fans to line up outside the ll England club.
